What is a true Christian

Being a Christian is not about posting daily bible verses on your status, it is not about attending church every Sunday, it is not about raising your hand in the air and yelling "Praise Jesus", and it is certainly not about showing off to others what you or your church has done for others!

Being a Christian comes with many responsibilities; The most important one being to love PERIOD.
Love your neighbour as you love yourself is a very important one to remember.

What is love for your neighbour? well it is many things but mostly true love should be clean, true, and consistent. True love does not have rules, true love does not choose who is worthy. We are all worthy of love.

And if God is Love, and he loves you just the way you are, and he calls unto you to love others, who are you to deny others of that love!?

It does not matter what the person has done in their past or their present. It does not matter if they fall time and time again. God is about forgiveness, acceptance and agape love. Therefore, you have no choice but to be there for your brother or sister no matter how tired you are of helping them back up.

We are all full of sin, not one of us is pure. You are no better than me, I am no better than you.
We should all help one another no questions asked.

It doesn't matter whether the person is "sensitive" or "dramatic" or if their problem is ongoing or a "typical" pattern. As a child of God it is your duty and responsibility to be there for them.

You are never too busy to help another. You have no right to say "I am concentrating on myself and keeping myself surrounded with positive people"! A person in need of help, a person having problems, a person with addiction or "drama" in their life is not a "negative" person! And since you are a child of God it is in your call of duty to embrace them and guide through and/or provide the resources and support to help them reach their full potential and better themselves and their surroundings.

You not only as a Christian but as a human being should NEVER turn your back on someone in need. How dare you!?

Never forget that you reap what you sow.

Also remember that on prayer alone one cannot live; life and Christianity is deeper than that. You have to be an active member to produce change. Words don't mean a thing.

The actions you make when in public and the Sunday visits to church do not make you a Christian.
What you do when nobody is watching is more important.

Perhaps its time you reflect, touch your heart and reach out to that person you have rejected and failed to help when they most needed you. Not only should you ask for God's and their forgiveness but also step up to the plate and DO something!

This is what being a Christian is according to Ana Garcia Grande.

We are all full of sin, nobody is perfect!

I have made mistakes, I continue to make some, and I will make more. This is who I am. It makes me human, not evil. And God loves me just the same as he loves you. Although I am not an active member in any Christian community, I believe it is my calling to love and accept others just as they are. Together we grow.

Always keeping it fresh,
