Fun Goals & Real Priorities
Wow! it has been a long while, but I have a lovely working computer and so I can now proceed with my weekly posts.
What a wonderful summer we had, a wet yet lovely one. I can't believe we are just two months away from Christmas!! I need to step up my game in order to achieve one particular fun goal I have for next year, so I need to take action and responsibility to make it happen. However my children are my main priority, my fun side project does not worry me because there truly is no hurry and I WILL get it done!
Anything in life that we want to accomplish is ABSOLUTELY possible, it all depends or how bad you want it, for me my kids are more important, and the my "fun" goal is not a critical one to our life. Note that there is a difference between leisure goals and life changing goals.
What is your priority? Do you have a goal? Have you made a plan of action?
Always remember to plan accordingly to your true schedule and not to a fantasy, never disregard what is most important to your life and health just for the sake of achieving a materialistic or fun side project. Stay true to what matters. As long as you keep working towards your dreams in a manner that fulfills you, than that is all that matters, don't be hard on yourself. Family first, play later.
So in light of this get her done mind frame I will post below some of my favorite make it happen quotes:
“If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.”
Albert Einstein
No road is too long for him who advances slowly and does not hurry, and no attainment is beyond his reach who equips himself with patience to achieve it.
Jean de La Bruyère
Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit.
Napoleon Hill
You must have long term goals to keep you from being frustrated by short term failures.
